TabTrade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
